This prestigious event will take place from November 14 to 18 in Montalcino. It is dedicated to the renowned Brunello di Montalcino wine, a true gem of Tuscany. During this event, wine enthusiasts, journalists, and buyers from around the globe will gather. They will have the opportunity to taste the 2020 Brunello, the 2019 Riserva, and the 2023 Rosso di Montalcino. Additionally, attendees can explore other local wines, including Moscadello and Sant’Antimo. With 126 wineries and over 500 labels available for tasting, the event promises to be a wine lover’s paradise. Over 100 journalists and critics will kick off the tastings at the Chiostro di Sant’Agostino. This gathering will set the stage for an unforgettable experience in the heart of Tuscany. A Day of Insights and Celebrations On Saturday, November 16, the event will feature a special focus on the future of wine consortia. This discussion will be led by Luciano Ferraro, the deputy director of Corriere della Sera. Esteemed presidents from various wine regions will participate, sharing their insights and experiences. Following this discussion, the evaluation of the 2020 vintage will take place. This vintage is set to hit the market in January 2025. The event will also include the prestigious Leccio d’Oro award ceremony and the unveiling of a traditional tile designed by acclaimed filmmaker Ferzan Ozpetek. Simultaneously, the Chiostro will open its doors to the public. Attendees will have the chance to engage directly with producers.
